Pam Reed is the newest spokesperson for XOOD Natural Endurance Drink.

Reed is the current American record-holder for the most miles run in a six-day marathon by completing 490 miles at the 2009 twelfth Annual Self-Transcendence Race in Queens, New York. She was previously named "Runner of the Year" by Competitor Magazine and has twice been the overall winner of the Badwater Ultra Marathon. Reed holds the American records in the 24-hour track run as well as the 48-hour track record for the 40-44 age group. She was the first person to run 300 miles without sleep and has been the race director for the Tucson Marathon since 1995.

"Before trying XOOD, I wasn't a believer in endurance products," said Reed. "After crashing during my last race, I decided to use XOOD exclusively. It increased my energy level and I was able to complete the race."

"We are honored Pam approached us to be a spokesperson," said Sal Tirrito, president and co-founder of HeartWise Fitness & Nutrition. "Pam is a fixture in the endurance scene and we're glad XOOD changed her mind on the importance and benefits of using healthy endurance products".

XOOD was developed by two endurance athletes who are also cardiologists. They combined their personal experience as athletes and their medical expertise to create a performance drink that is a natural choice for endurance athletes. The mission of XOOD is to be the choice purveyor of healthy sports nutrition products in the athletic market and to promote personal fitness. For more information, visit www.xoodhealth.com.
