SAWMILL PUBLISHING COMPANY LAUNCHES EMY MOON 2009 CAMPAIGN
(
PRLEAP.COM) LONG BEACH, CA, June 1, 2009. George Murphy, owner/publisher of Sawmill Publishing Company, LLC announced today that due to a resurgence of American history popularity, with such mega hits as HBO’s John Adams, they would be launching a new campaign for Murphy Gordon’s Emy Moon.
Past releases of the young adult novel were well received, particularly with historical organizations, schools and young adults in California. "We need to get the word out about just how wonderful this historical novel is," says Murphy. "It instills an underlying interest in history to all who read it. We receive letters from teens who not only have no interest in history, but dislike reading as well, telling us just how entertaining Emy Moon is."
Appealing to all ages, Emy Moon is a beautifully written novel that takes the reader on an amazing voyage of discovery. Guided by the spirit of a young colonial tomboy, a young girl from California will discover a young colonial woman, the story of whom will aid in understanding her own identity.
As millions of Americans contemplate the state of our union, it’s beneficial to contemplate the origins of that union. In his unforgettable book, Emy Moon, Murphy Gordon gives us an unparalleled intimacy with our nation’s historical roots.
Sawmill Publishing’s promotional campaign this year will include advertisement in 3 issues of the American Spirit Magazine, which is issued bimonthly by one of the nation’s most celebrated women’s organizations-the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
As 2009 progresses additional campaigns with other society magazines will be planned. Watch for further press releases.
