Tampa Orthodontist, Dr. Hess Offers WildSmiles Brackets

(PRLEAP.COM) June 11, 2009- TAMPA, FLORIDA – Tampa Orthodontist Dr. Hess recently introduced WildSmiles Brackets to his practice.

WildSmiles Brackets are uniquely shaped brackets that work with conventional braces and promise to make wearing braces fun for kids of all ages, Hess said.

WildSmiles Brackets are manufactured and used the same way as traditional square brackets, said Hess, a Tampa orthodontics expert.

"We are really excited to offer WildSmiles," he said. "We like to make visiting our office fun. With WildSmiles, that’s easy to accomplish."

As the top shaped-brackets creator in the world, WildSmiles offers six brackets shapes to choose from: stars, footballs, hearts, flowers, soccer balls, or the new Superman diamond shape. Patients can choose one shape or mix-and-match to fill their six front teeth on their upper jaw, the only teeth that show when showing off their new wild smile. Traditional brackets are used on the remaining teeth, which blend with the shaped brackets.

Since their creation in 2000 by Nebraska Orthodontist Dr. Clark Stevens, thousands of people from ages 9 to 79 have used WildSmiles Brackets with glowing testimonies of their unique look, affordability and the many options patients can choose from.

"I developed WildSmiles Brackets because patients love to make the choice," said Stevens on the WildSmiles Brackets website, "Patients, parents, grandparents and friends all enjoy choosing and even referring because of WildSmiles."

Originally made for younger children to make wearing braces more fun, WildSmiles has found that even adults enjoy their smile being personalized.

WildSmiles Brackets can be used on any patient with Phase One orthodontic needs such as changing positions and symmetry of jaws or the spacing of teeth. Phase One orthodontics aims to make minor adjustments to prevent future surgery. If caught early enough, it could also mean that a patient spends less time wearing braces.

There is no cost difference in wearing WildSmiles compared to traditional brackets. Patients can further personalize their smile with colored rubber bands as they would with traditional brackets.

"It just brings a lot more fun to wearing braces," said Carolyn McMillan, Human Relations Coordinator for Hess Orthodontics.
