Boston Area Car Dealer, Mirak Automotive Group, Sponsors a Local Youth Baseball League

Mirak Automotive Group, a Boston area Chevrolet and Hyundai dealership, recently continued their community service efforts by supporting the Arlington MA Youth Baseball and Softball League. In addition to sponsoring the "Mirak Angels" for more then 20 years, Mirak Automotive Group has developed a local Chevy Youth Baseball program aimed at reaching aspiring young baseball players in their community. Over the years, not only has the Mirak Auto Group provided significant monetary donations, but has also supported local Little League teams by supplying much needed sporting equipment.

Mirak Automotive Group has been actively engaged in the Chevy Youth Baseball Program for over three years and has spawned a grassroots movement between car dealerships and the local communities around them. Chevrolet corporate has brought to fruition an initiative where dealers across the U.S get involved with their local communities, one dealer at a time, and give back to the children of the community. During the 2009 Little League baseball season, Mirak Automotive Group will provide a variety of sporting good equipment including softballs, baseballs, equipment bags and much more. Mirak realizes the importance of supporting the community that for almost 75 years has supported their growing family business.

In the spirit of enjoying the baseball league, Chevy Youth Baseball also has a picture taking contest. Friends and family have a variety of different categories in which to take pictures. The winner of this contest will receive a new scoreboard for their home baseball field. In the end, Chevy will be donating over $375,000 in monetary and equipment contributions to over 220 different Little Leagues across northeastern United States. Giving back to the community is way that Chevy and Mirak Automotive Group can show the people that they care about the city of Arlington.
