Summer festival season got off to a great start on the Isle of Wight, closely followed by the nation's favourite, Glastonbury. Now, hot on their heels, comes the famous North Sea Jazz Festival, hosted by Europe's largest and most dynamic port city of Rotterdam and headlined by some of the world's biggest musical names.

And with one of Eurocamp's most popular parcs, Duinrell, some 24 miles from the heart of the action – and with quick and easy rail and bus links, it's easy to enjoy the festival weekend in comfort, without paying peak rates for city centre hotels.

The musical extravaganza will run for three days from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July. The world's biggest jazz festival will see the likes of the King of Blues BB King and jazz pianist and composer Herbie Hancock – along with modern day artists such as Alicia Keys, Seal, Jamie Cullum, Erykah Badu, Adele and Duffy - take to the stage of the exciting Ahoy arena and at a further 15 venues across the city.

Eurocamp's Duinrell campsite – located near the village of Wassenaar, in The Hague - is not only a great place for music loving couples or families to rest their heads; it is also perfect for those who may wish to take a break from "all that jazz".

For those wishing to enjoy the area's more natural setting, Duinrell's coastal position - amongst the beautiful woodland and dunes of South Holland - makes it an excellent location for outdoor activities and scenic country walks.

On site, festival goers can spend days of excitement at the neighbouring theme park or countless hours splashing around at the onsite 'Tiki' tropical waterpark – both free to Eurocamp customers for two hours each day. Other on-parc facilities include rowing boats, bicycle hire, crazy golf and a climbing wall, perfect for an action packed holiday.

Duinrell is also located just over 30 miles from the capital Amsterdam with its many attractions, and just a short train journey from Schipol airport, to which many low cost operators fly from the UK.

A five night break at Duinrell during the North Sea Jazz Festival (from Thursday 9 July 2009) costs just £530, staying in a two bedroom 'Comfort' mobile home (sleeps 7 max), accommodation only.
