Alex has recently featured in the Hull Daily Mail when she skydived for her favourite charity, ‘for the kids’ (the official charity of Viking FM and Magic 1161) earlier this year. She does a lot of freelance work for Viking FM, as a member of the Street Team and as a Voice Over. She also currently appears on the Jacksons Stores’ ‘Shop Scan Save’ television advert.

Alex is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the world’s leading professional marketing organisation. Members of the CIM sign up to a code of conduct which demands quality and honesty. Alex invests heavily in her own professional development and hopes to be awarded the status of ‘Chartered Marketer’ within two years.

Illness has been an obstacle throughout Alex’s life but she has always been determined to overcome this. Alex has experienced pain and exhaustion for as long as she can remember but has only recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and arthritis. She does not let this get in her way: “I have to respect the fact that I have an illness and give myself a break sometimes, but I am passionate about what I do and when I take on a project, nothing will stop me – in fact challenges make me more determined!”
