The best part is that it all happens in one place in a fun, fair-like setting."

Contestants are challenged to attain the most miles per gallon on an open road course within a time limit. Past entrants have achieved 100 mpg or more and many of the winning cars will be on display at Green Drive Expo on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Green Drive Expo is the region's summertime clean and sustainable transportation event and will be held as part of the Dane County Fair on July 18-19. Free public admission to Green Drive Expo 2009 is included with the purchase of a Dane County Fair ticket, which also includes free parking.
