Santa Monica Hood Sales Company to Open Office in Placentia

(PRLEAP.COM) July 24, 2009 -SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA- Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., an affiliate of American Professional Services (APS-Hoods), will open an office and shop in the Los Angeles/Santa Monica area on August 1.

The Denver-based company has provided Santa Monica hood cleaning and hood sales and hood installation services for the past 20 years, but maintained no physical address here, said Massoud Farazandeh chief executive officer of APS-Hoods.

"We spent the past several years partnering with Santa Monica, CA hood cleaning contractors for jobs in the greater Orange County area," Farazandeh said. "We would utilize their workshop and equipment when necessary, so for a long time, I didn’t feel we needed a shop of our own."

But this year the volume of business has grown to the point that Farazandeh determined it was time to create a satellite location in Orange County, he said. He will open an office and workshop at 610 S. Jefferson St., Unit G in Placentia in August.

In addition to hood sales and cleaning services, Santa Monica hood installation services also will be available through Nationwide Fire Protection Corp.

NFP will continue to work with independent contractors in the area to address the work demand. The major changes brought on by adding this location is that it provides the ability to do custom fabrication on site, rather than having to ship materials from the company’s Denver headquarters.

"This is going to be more convenient for us and it will allow us to pass along cheaper prices to our customers, since shipping no longer will be an issue," Farazandeh said.

Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. and APS-Hoods crews will begin stocking the new location with vehicles, parts and equipment by mid-July.
