LateRooms.com can announce that the movers and shakers from the world of art are set to descend on the German city of Berlin this Summer for one of the biggest events in the industry.

Kicking off on September 24th, Art Forum Berlin is an international fair featuring pieces from some of the leading galleries around the world.

The event, which takes place in the exhibition grounds of the Messe Berlin, focuses on contemporary work, with institutions including Galarie Haas of Zurich, Team Gallery New York and Herald St of London set to exhibit items at this year's festival.

Over the course of the four-day fair, many of the city's museums, galleries and private art institutions will host their own exhibitions, with the New National Gallery set to present 'Die Sammlung Ulla und Heiner Pietzsch'.

Tickets covering two days of exhibitions cost 32 euros (£27.50), with one-day passes priced at 18 euros. Student tickets are also available and cost 12 euros.

In addition, those staying in Berlin hotels have the option of purchasing evening passes for the festival, which are also priced at 12 euros and are valid from 4pm.

Art Forum Berlin is now in its 14th year and is set to attract around 40,000 collectors, art enthusiasts, curators and gallery directors from around the world.
