Del Mar Race track hosts first ever Tech event

(PRLEAP.COM) DEL MAR, Calif. As the weeks roll by, Del Mar continues its cutting edge reputation by hosting Cool as Ever Tech. On August 8, the event merges the fun and intensity of horseracing with microblogging and social media for an experience unlike any other. Combined with The Airborne Toxic Event during the Summer Concert Series and a t-shirt giveaway, the weekend of August 7 and 8 is one of Del Mar’s most exciting all season.

:: The Airborne Toxic Event plays the Summer Concert Series– Fri., Aug. 7 –The Airborne Toxic Event brings their unique alternative rock sound to the Del Mar Racetrack. The Los Angeles Times has described their music as "poetry you can dance to…nothing short of amazing," and there’s no better backdrop for this must-see concert than the Southern California coastline during the summer.

:: Cool as Ever Tech - Sat., Aug. 8 – Join us as we take over the expansive Seaside Tropical Cabana from noon until 6 pm for Cool as Ever Tech. Guests can eat, drink, tweet, and take in the excitement that Del Mar horse racing has to offer. Of course, we’ll do so in an über-connected and geekified style. Expect real-time Twitter walls, a livestream of the event, and gadgets, goodies, and giveaways that will make the geek in you scream with delight.
