Celebrate Autumn Festival in Madrid – LateRooms.com

LateRooms.com can annouce those staying in hotels in Madrid later this year will have the chance to attend one of the city's biggest and most entertaining events.

The Autumn Festival gets underway on November 4th and runs until the 29th and features a packed programme of colourful activities, displays and performances.

Visitors can watch as Madrid comes to life, with everything from circus events to dance and theatrical shows taking place throughout the month.

The festival features productions from across the globe, with this year's programme including Medee
from France, The Blue Dragon from Canada and Nunzio from Italy.

Norwegian singer-songwriter Hanne Hukkelberg will also be taking to the stage, as well as modern music ensemble Whale Watching Tour and Japanese pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Organised by the ministry of culture and tourism of the community of Madrid, the festival has been
taking place in the city for the last 25 years and attracts thousands of spectators from across Spain and beyond.

Highlights of last year's festival included a performance of Sweeney Todd and concerts from artists such as Josh Weller and Sweet Billy Pilgrim.

Events take place across several city centre venues, including the Teatro Fernan Gomez, Teatro de la Zarzuela and Teatro Madrid.
