New York, New York - NYMVAE announces its upcoming caberet performances Thursdays with NYMVAE. The cabaret evenings will be held at the popular theater district venue, Danny’s Skylight Room, located at 346 West 46th Street in Manhattan.

The audience will be able to sip cocktails while enjoying some of NYMVAE’s finest and funniest performances.
• September 8, NYMVAE Goes To The Movies: NYMVAE salutes the silver screen by singing some of our all-time favorite movie tunes. From Berlin's 'Sisters' to Mancinni's 'Moon River', we'll take a journey to the golden age of Hollywood.
• September 15, Songs That Sizzle: Keeping the heat of summer burning hot, NYMVAE sexes up the stage with some steamy tangos and sultry melodies
• September 22, Mark Wellen: Back Again For The First Time: Come hear one of NYMVAE's favorite funny men as he lights up the stage in his debut solo cabaret performance.
• September 29, ‘S Wonderful: Gershwin said it all in one simple word! Life is a bowl of cherries and we don't intend to forget it! Join NYMVAE in our final cabaret of the series and raise a fancy cocktail to Fall in NYC.

Tickets for these performances are $15 with a $10 food and drink minimum.

New York Metro Vocal Arts Ensemble, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 2000 by a talented collective of singers, musicians and composers looking to create new opportunities to practice their craft and better educate the New York community about the possibilities of classical performance. NYMVAE has performed 30 works for over 3,000 audience members, produced outreach programs for area community centers, given seminars on the vocal arts to inner-city students and created performing opportunities for more than 65 singers.
