Jostens is recognized for five 2009 Premier Print Awards

MINNEAPOLIS – October 1, 2009 – Jostens was named as a recipient for five 2009 Premier Print Awards from the Printing Industries of America. The prestigious Premier Print Awards is the world's largest printing competition. The most coveted award, the Best of Category or the Benny, is given only once each year and the 2009 Benny was awarded to "The 2008 Aegis" from Dartmouth College, printed by Jostens. Jostens Sales Representative Steve Erickson serves Dartmouth College.

Jostens also received four Certificates of Merit, awarded to approximately five percent of all entries. The following Jostens projects were recognized: "The 2009 La Vie" of Penn State University, Jostens Sales Representative Ben Kimble, "The 2009 Finest Hours" of Winston Churchill High School, Jostens Sales Representative Dennis Leahy, "The 2008 Howitzer" of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Jostens Regional Sales Manager Steve Luke and "The 2008 Chanticleer" of Duke University, Jostens Sales Representative Kim Trezona.
The competition receives more than 5,000 entries across all forms of printing. The criterion for the competition is based on the overall look of the finished publication. The quality of photography, design expertise, printing quality, and final binding are all part of the criteria.
