Virgin Active launches state-of-the-art Health and Fitness club in Twickenham Stadium's new South Stand

Virgin Active, the UK's most innovative and exciting health club brand opened its 72nd club on October 1st with the unveiling of its new site in Twickenham Stadium's new South Stand. As part of the stadium development already taking place, Virgin Active Classic Twickenham provides an exclusive and dynamic fitness destination to sit alongside other new facilities including a 156 bedroom Marriott hotel, conference and banqueting facilities, a performing arts centre, a Rugby store and new office accommodation.

Members of the Virgin Active Classic Twickenham can experience style, space, luxury and sophisticated fitness technology through state of the art equipment, an industry leading Personal Training programme and unique offerings such as a three-storey 50ft climbing wall and exhilarating studio classes such as Zumba Dance – a hot new trend from Miami, all designed to lead you towards a healthier lifestyle and relax in a completely exclusive environment.

In addition to the three dedicated studios, created to cater specifically for mind body, indoor cycling (with 34 Star Trac NXT bikes) and general aerobic/conditioning, the gym area offers a selection of exciting options:
