As the year slowly draws to an end Wix is using these last couple of months to introduce an impressive lineup of new improvements and innovations to their powerful website builder.

Wix provides free Flash templates and a free website builder that uses an intuitive drag and drop interface to enable anyone to
make a website easily. Over the past couple of years Wix has been steadily growing and gaining popularity with over 1.5 million free websites already created using this original Flash technology.

In the next couple of months leading up to the year's end it will implement many new improvements and innovations, including, but not limited to the following:
- The notorious Wix blue loader bar that appears as each website is being loaded will be customizable. Wix users will be able to define and control the loader's appearance.
- Wix will begin to support new previously unsupported foreign languages in the menus. Also, the menu graphics will be improved along with greater creative freedom.
- Editor liquidity – at the moment the editor is optimized for high resolution screens. From now on it will be flexible and will be compatible with all resolutions. This is particularly interesting for all those laptop users.
- Picture galleries – the Wix picture galleries will undergo a complete and comprehensive upgrade. They will now include smoother motion, new and improved skin types and several entirely new gallery types.
- Transitions – users will be able to control mini-page and slide show transitions and add their own graphics and transitions.
- Shopping Cart – the Wix eCommerce shop continues to evolve. New addition currencies will be added, more product options will be included (size, colors etc), new payment options, visual indications and much, much more.

Wix CEO Avishai Abrahami talks about the upcoming changes to Wix's free website builder: "Lately we've instituted a number of big changes to the site, but there are significant updates ahead. We've spent a lot of time considering updates that will really improve the user-experience while responding to frequent requests by Wix users for new features".

All Wix users are invited to send ideas and requests concerning the Wix website builder or
web design templates through the forum wish list.

Wix was established in 2005 and has its headquarters in NY and offices in Tel-Aviv. It is backed by Mangrove Capital Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. More information on can be found at www.wix.com.
