Star Publish (http://starpublish.com) releases New Directions in Bible Study by Thomas E. Gill for publication in both paperback and e-book formats. New Directions in Bible Study can be purchased at Amazon.com, BN.com, or from local bookstores.

Gill states, “For too long Bible study has been stagnant, a dark well needing light, needing new direction(s). Imagine the past as a deep dark well. My essays seek to cast light into that deep dark well. I place three New Testament books in a more viable historical Chronology. Consider my evidence for the Chronological changes. Galatians is after 80, the Gospel of Mark is by Cerinthus in 120s, and the Letter to Hebrews is by a Maricionite before 190. I draw upon evidence long available to Students of Bible Study, evidence that theologians must consider in terms of my defense of my new directions in historical Chronology.

Thomas E. Gill was born in 1935 and educated in Portland, Oregon where he attended Jefferson High School, PSU, University of Portland, PCC MHCC, and Reed. He holds several Master's Degrees with two of them being in history from PSU in 1976 and BSU in 1990. He also pursued PhDs in history at the University of Arizona and the University of Idaho. Gill has thirty years of college education.

As an Emersonian Unitarian, he is an avid student of the Bible. Since 1974, he has written essays for New Directions in Bible Study. He will focus next on New Testament Studies. He is an intellectual with expertise in History, Philosophy, Greek and Roman Classics, Literatures and Literary Criticism. His forte is "allegory".
