Former basketball star gives free leadership seminar in Iowa City

Coralville, Iowa — Former college basketball player and True Label vice president, Jim Lange, will be offering a free leadership seminar to people in positions of leadership or aspiring for leadership positions at 7:00 PM on September 23 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, Iowa City.

The 6-foot-8 Lange who played basketball for The University of Toledo believes this free seminar will help people significantly improve the quality of their leadership in their homes, workplace, schools and the community as a whole.

"Many of the problems we have in our homes, businesses, schools, churches and even communities are in fact traceable to poor leadership," opines the highly sought after leadership speaker who will be showcasing his new book, Bleedership, Biblical First-Aid for Leaders, at the September 23-24 Mid-Western Christian Book Fair in Iowa City.

Lange's free seminars specifically deal with how quality leadership can help reduce the high incidence of divorce, low self-esteem in children, teen drug and alcohol abuse, job dissatisfaction, depression and apathy at school and in the workplace.

"I was once a victim of poor leadership in the workplace, so I know how it feels and how it affects relationship and productivity," explains Lange whose book, Bleedership, examines the leadership style of his former boss and contrasts it with the leadership style of the great leaders in the Bible.

Ed Reiter, respected bank CEO at Sky Financial Services says, “Having taught leadership classes and reading almost every leadership book on the market, I have found this book to be the most effective. It is based on biblical principles, which, in my opinion, are the foundation of all leadership. I recommend this book to anyone in any leadership position or anyone who desires to become a leader.”

Glenn Teal, Senior Pastor at Crossroads Community Church says, “Jim Lange is the real deal – a gifted leader, a successful businessman, and a solid Christian husband and father. This brief book packs a powerful punch as Jim shares important life lessons he personally learned the hard way. Read it and grow!”
