LateRooms.com can announce that The Winter Tollwood Festival offers a "world of extremes" to visitors, with theatre, circus and cabaret performances all on offer.

Running for one month, it opens its doors today (November 25th) and will be delighting tourists and locals alike until December 31st.

Every year the event takes on a different theme and this year it is heaven and hell, with the concept mirrored across the festival site - from its venue design to the performers on show and even the food.

Highlights of the event include productions from a selection of theatre troupes, circuses and singers from around the world; the unusual Futterkrippe that offers a journey through global Christmas cuisine; and the Market of Ideas that provides a quirky alternative to the traditional festive markets.

It is open to the public between 14:00 and 01:00 local time during the week, and opens earlier - at 11:00 local time - on Saturdays and Sundays.

Located in Thereisenweise in Munich, it is easily accessible from the many Munich hotels by public transport, including the U-bahn, S-bahn and tram networks.

"LateRooms anticipates heavy demand for hotels Munchen due to the Winter Tollwood Festival and recommends that people attending book their accommodation early," says LateRooms head of marketing Jess Reading.
