Staff Lament “Our Boss Has Gone Nuts”

The staff at Itsurbirthday.com thinks their boss has gone nuts and fighting back in the only way they know how.

On Monday Art Nyberg developer and co-owner decided to give away the site’s Birthday Times to anyone who wants it. The offer does have a shipping and handling charge of $3.00. Lisa Hamilton, one of the staff who is up in arms about the decision said that “it took quite bit of talking to get that concession from Nyberg. He was determined to not even charge for shipping.”

It was only after the staff threatened to go to the media that Nyberg relented. Hamilton said, “He understood then that the business would go broke and he relented on shipping and handling.”

Itsurbirthday.com provides many ways to celebrate and honor birthdays and The Birthday Times has a normal cost of $8.95 plus shipping and handling. When Nyberg was asked about the decision he acknowledged that shipping and printing costs could have sunk the company. He said, “I appreciate the loyalty of our staff but we will see how many orders we get. If we get more orders than we could have filled without going broke I owe the group a steak dinner. If it would have worked out fine they have promised they would not mutiny next time.”

The last thing Nyberg said to us was, “I am not nuts but I guess we will see.” Hamilton had a different take but agreed, “We will see”.

The offer is available at http://www.itsurbirthday.com on the internet.
