LateRooms.com can announce that if there is one sweet dessert that most people in the world are partial to then it is a bit of chocolate and those staying at accommodation in Turin are unlikely to be any different.

When they have had their fill of Italian classics such as Tiramsu and panacotta, one festival may offer them all the dark, white and milk chocolate treats they could ever want.

From February 22nd until March 3rd, the annual CioccolaTO event takes place in the northern Italian city and is likely to be a chocolate-lover's dream come true.

According to the World Event Guide, around 700,000 people make their way to the festival every year to sample up to 30,000 kg of the most delicious sweets that chocolatiers have to offer.

It is hosted by Turin's Vittorio Veneto and many other historic cafes, which will be inviting visitors to have their fill of the food of the gods through a variety of competitions and tasting sessions, What's on When reports.

The travel website also explains that a different aspect of the food, which is produced from the cacao tree, is addressed every year and people from all over the world come to the celebration.

If you're heading to the CioccolaTO this year, we strongly advise that you book your hotel Torino as soon as possible, given the huge popularity of the event.
