FundingUniverse.com Announces Free Web-based Software for Angel Groups

Provo, UT – FundingUniverse.com announced today that it has finished developing its web-based Dealflow Suite software and is providing it free of charge to every angel group in America.

The service enables angel groups to draw from hundreds of business plans posted on the FunidngUniverse.com family of sites, discuss them online, and rate them as a group. In addition, angel groups may use the software to evaluate plans that have been submitted to them privately through FundingUniverse.com.

Scott Fraiser and the Utah Angels, who have been using the service during its beta period, say the Dealflow Suite’s capabilities make group deal evaluation much simpler.

"Before the Dealflow Suite came along we gathered business plans onto our own private website, exchanged comments via email and voted via email," said Frazier. "Now we do all this through FundingUniverse.com and the Dealflow Suite - in one quarter the time."

“Many angel groups hire a small staff to help them accumulate business plans, keep them organized, and distribute them to a judging panel within the angel group,” said FundingUniverse.com CTO Trent Miskin. “Dealflow takes care of all of those needs at no cost to the angel groups that use it.”

Angel groups interested in learning more about the Dealflow Suite may contact FunidngUniverse.com at 801.805.4847 or members@fundinguniverse.com.

FundingUniverse.com was started by MyFamily.com founder Paul Allen (no relation to Microsoft’s Paul Allen) and former Novell General Counsel David Bradford. Their creation has helped entrepreneurs meet dozens of angel investors throughout the nation this year.
