LateRooms.com can announce that Florence is getting ready to welcome thousands of art lovers next month for the Artour-O the Must - Temporary MUSeum.

People staying in Florence hotels during the event, which will run from February 18th to 21st, may want to join in some of the meetings or simply visit some of the exhibitions that will be hosted around the city.

Using venues such as the Museo Archeologico, Palazzo Budini Gattai and La Misericordia, visitors will be able to follow a trail of contemporary artworks all around the city.

All forms of expression are included among the installations, from sculpture and painting to performance art and multimedia.

The organisers pride themselves on selecting artists who are "able to express themselves artistically in a timeless manner" and bring these together with both public and private organisations collaborating to give life to the event.

Last year's Artour-O celebrated the multiculturality of art in Italy and attracted a number of dignitaries, including the director of the British Institute of Florence Vanessa Hall-Smith and director of the Centre for Contemporary Arts Luigi Pecci.

Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, commented: "Demand for the Artour-O the MUST is always significant and we recommend that anyone considering attending should book their hotel Firenze as early as possible."
