LateRooms.com highlights anyone who has a passion for running may be thinking of combining their hobby with a holiday.

If so, booking accommodation in Prague for late March could be the way to go as the city will be hosting its annual Half Marathon on the 27th.

Attracting a mix of international athletes and amateur running enthusiasts, the event is open to anyone who wants to compete.

Entry fees start from €45 (£39.60), with people able to participate either as part of a team or on their own.

The starting pistol for the individual race will sound at 12:00 (local time) in Rudolfinum J Palacha Square.

For anyone who thinks they could struggle with the 21.097 kilometre-long course, there's also a relay option for groups of four people.

Between a team, it costs €225 to secure a place on the starting line up if they register before February 27th.

People who are not feeling quite so energetic but want to enjoy the excitement of the race can always watch from the sidelines and soak up the atmosphere.

There will also be a Marathon Music Festival featuring more than 450 bands both from the local area and abroad.

As well as the satisfaction of having run a half marathon, anyone who does complete the course will also be entitled to reduced entry prices at a number of Prague's attractions, allowing them to make the most of the remainder of their break.
