AsiaRooms.com can announce that the latest clothes and accessories from the fashion world will soon be on display at a special industry showcase in the Thai capital.

Spread over four days, the Bangkok International Fashion Fair attracts fashion dealers from across Thailand and further afield.

This year's event is scheduled to run from April 1st to 4th and will take place in the Challenger Hall of the Impact exhibition and conference centre.

The trade fair will be combined with the Bangkok International Leather Fair and the ASEAN Fashion Plus showcase to provide a truly memorable experience for the city's fashionistas and style fanatics.

Last year, the event featured 716 exhibitors and 1,132 booths, but people using hotels in Bangkok can expect an even bigger spectacle for 2010.

According to the organisers, the fair is set to attract over 1,000 different exhibitors and will extend to approximately 1,200 individual booths this time around.

Up to 40,000 visitors are expected on the public days (April 3rd and 4th), while the first two days of the event are trade only and should see about 8,000 delegates passing through the doors.

Some of the confirmed exhibits include Exotic Asia, which will display crafted textiles and clothes in traditional Asian styles.

People booking hotels in Siam Square or similar Bangkok locations may be interested in other forthcoming events at the Impact centre, such as the Thailand International Dog Show, which is scheduled for June 24th to 27th.
