LateRooms.com - London Burlesque Week 'pulls out all the stops'

LateRooms.com highlights for those people who want to do something a bit different this spring, the first London Burlesque Week could be just the ticket.

The last three years has seen the festival restricted to one weekend at a time, but the "overwhelming success" of the sell-out 2009 event has led to organiser Chaz Royal setting up week of shows from April 20th to 25th for this year's occasion.

Performers from all over the world will be showing off their talent and leave fans staying at hotels in London hungry for more.

The festival website claimed: "London Burlesque Week promises more glitz, more glamour, more vaudeville and more sizzling striptease than any other burlesque event in 2010."

Some highlights include the opening-night Red Carpet Strut at Café de Paris, with all of the headline cast on display, while the International Jetsetters Ball at the Scala on April 24th promises to be a fine evening with some incredible dancers from across the globe taking to the stage.

Venues and prices vary depending on which show people want to attend, although for a limited time there will be early bird prices and all access passes available on the website.

Secrets In Lace, designers of the Dita Von Teese stocking collection will be in attendance selling lingerie to partygoers, with many of the performances going on until late.
