DIANA MERA’S SPECIAL PERFORMANCE AT THE HISPANIC WOMEN’S CONFERENCE
(PRLEAP.COM) Singer/songwriter Diana Mera will offer a special performance at the Hispanic Women’s Conference this Friday, September 16th, 2005, during the corporate luncheon where Cristina Saralegui, host of Univision’s "El Show de Cristina" will receive the National Latina Excellence Award.
The Hispanic Women’s Corporation (HWC) is hosting the 20th National Hispanic Women’s Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on Sept. 15-16, 2005 at the Phoenix Civic Plaza.
“As a Latin woman, I am very happy to contribute to an event that has the possibilities to give other young Latinas, the opportunities that I’ve had” said Mera.
The two-day conference is the largest gathering of Latinas in the country and will provide leadership and professional development to over 2,000 participants while raising money for college scholarships to benefit young Latinas.
