Paid travel writing program from BootsnAll, looking for online travel guide writers

March 02, 2010 (PRLEAP.COM) Travel News
BootsnAll Travel Network is launching a new, travel writing platform. The BootsnAll Travel Writer Platform aims to connect passionate travel writers and travelers through expert-driven content as well as web 3.0 cultivation of community. The program will begin with a search for five new travel writers in March.

Starting locations include: Amsterdam, Australia, France, Hawaii, Indonesia, Ireland, Las Vegas, London, Mexico, and South Africa; and also adventure travel, business travel, round the world travel, TEFL, and travel gear. Writers will be paid a competitive rate for the work they do as they build their destination's site, and once their site becomes profitable, writers will share in its success.

Sean Keener, CEO of BootsnAll, said, "I am excited about this project. In the last few years, the global playing field has brought the cost [and perceived value] of content production down significantly. Many online travel writers have been forced to jump from one contract to another. 'Crank out content, and invoice' becomes the mantra. This writing platform offers stability and creates a win-win partnership between writers and BootsnAll. We are not a venture-backed company with super-aggressive return requirements, so we have the flexibility to work with both writers and travelers."

The application deadline is March 15, 2010. Apply here: http://writers.bootsnall.com/platform
