World Geothermal exhibition to take place in Bali - AsiaRooms.com

AsiaRooms.com can reveal that some of the most innovative energy products will soon be on show in Bali for the World Geothermal Congress.

The event will be held at the Bali International Convention Centre in Nusa Dua from April 25th to 30th, with delegates and experts from across the globe travelling to the island to exchange ideas and experiences.

According to the Indonesian Geothermal Association (INAGA), nations such as China, Germany, Italy and the US will be represented at the event, with delegates from the World Bank and the European Union also in attendance.

As well as panel discussions and seminars, the congress will feature an exhibition showcasing the latest in geothermal technology.

To coincide with the event, INAGA is also hosting a special golf tournament on April 25th for delegates using accommodation in Bali.

A place in the competition will cost players $225 (£147) each and entry is limited to 144 people, with spots allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The spectacular New Kuta Golf course provides the venue and a number of special prizes will be on offer, including a car for players who manage a hole in one.

A programme of field trips to sites of geothermal interest in Indonesia has also been arranged as part of the conference schedule.
