LateRooms.com divulges for those people who are still in touch with the child inside them and fanatics who want to keep abreast of the current state of graphic novels in Europe, the Torino Comics & Games may be an ideal event.

Running from April 9th to 11th, guests at hotels in Turin can jump on a train or tram-bus to Lingotto Fiere and browse through a plethora of comic book stands, meet authors of well-known titles and take part in a number of competitions.

Travellers heading down to the event are encouraged to dress up as characters from Manga publications and classic Japanese films, with the organisers of the event pointing out that some people choose to come as farmers and fishermen rather than samurai or ninjas.

For fans of the Japanese culture there is a whole section of the exhibition devoted clothes and other products from the region.

Meanwhile, the Star Wars Fest 2010 area will no doubt offer all sorts of merchandise relating to the intergalactic series of books, comics and films.

Last year, the event broke its record for the number of people coming through its doors, with 15,488 attendees recorded over the course of the weekend.

The 2010 festival will be open from 09:30 to 19:30 (local time) and costs €8 to get in.
