LateRooms.com divulges people who have booked Düsseldorf hotels over the Easter period may want to celebrate the religious festival in a traditional way.

If that is the case, then they should consider heading to the Neanderkirche on Bolkestrasse for a special concert to mark Palm Sunday.

Taking place at the venue at 18:00 (local time) on March 28th, anyone is welcome to attend the choir and orchestral concert being held at the church.

Among the music due to be performed are several pieces from Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, including Christe, Du Lamm Gottes and the cantata Wer nur den lieben Gott läßt walten.

Tickets for the event start from €5 (£4.53) and can cost up to €15.

All the music in the show will be performed by the resident choir at the Neanderkirche and the choristers will be led by Sebastian Klein.

There will also be a special service to mark Good Friday on April 2nd, which is free to attend and will feature works from Bach, Hasselmans and Natra, among others.

It will be accompanied by harp music from Susana Feige.

"The Palm Sunday concert at Neanderkirche is likely to be popular," said Jess Reading, head of marketing at LateRooms. "LateRooms strongly recommends people considering attending to book hotels Düsseldorf as soon as possible."
