AsiaRooms.com can announce that travellers with an interest in interior design and property renovation are advised to head to Kuala Lumpur for Homedec 2010 next month.

Running from April 29th to May 2nd, the major home decoration exhibition is expected to attract 90,000 visitors over the four days.

The event is open to the general public and admission is free, meaning that people using hotels in Kuala Lumpur may choose to spend a few hours enjoying the latest trends and products in interior design.

Exhibit categories include kitchen and home appliances, bedroom and wardrobe ideas, decorative items and lighting, home security and technology.

As well as the various exhibits, the event will include a number of special attractions such as daily giveaways, competitions and special workshops.

Homedec 2010 is set to take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, which is located in the centre of the city near the Petronas Twin Towers.

In December last year, the venue announced that various high-profile events are expected to bring a total of 16,000 international delegates to the Malaysian capital between 2009 and 2014.

These conferences include the World Islamic Economic Forum, the Pacific Science Congress and the World Engineering, Science and Technology Congress.
