AsiaRooms.com reports people who enjoy going to gigs while travelling abroad to find out what the local music scene is like should think about booking Seminyak hotels next month.

Indonesian rock band JEANIE will be playing in nearby Kuta on April 17th.

The show will kick off from 20:00 (local time) at Twice Bar on Poppies Lane.

JEANIE have been performing together for ten years, with the four members describing their brand of rock as "a vintage but hard sound in a medium beat".

They have just released their latest album, Perfect Glory, which features songs such as Fight For Your Love, Bego Loe! and Precious Secrets - their most recent single.

Members of the band cite Motley Crue, Metallica and Aerosmith among their influences so if you like any of those, you may want to check out the gig if you are travelling to Bali next month.

The gig will coincide with the release of their mini-album celebrating a decade together, which means that it is likely to be a special occasion whether you are a die-hard fan of the group or a newcomer to their music.

Another great opportunity to hear some music from Bali as well as the rest of the world will present itself during the Balispirit festival.

More than 30 performers are lined-up to play during the five-day event, with local musician Susu Ibu among those due to take to the stage.
