AsiaRooms.com divulges anyone who enjoys sailing or pleasure boating could find that the China International Boat Show is the perfect diversion during a trip to Shanghai.

Thousands of visitors from all over the world are expected to descend on the Shanghai Exhibition Centre during the event's four-day run.

It will open on April 8th, with the final guests leaving on April 11th. No doubt many of those attending will have booked themselves into Shanghai hotels for a few days.

This is the 15th year that China has held its boat show, with a marina system set up alongside the World Expo garden to act as a display area for many of the vessels.

Following the opening ceremony at 09:30 (local time) on April 8th, the show will open at 10:00 each morning, with visitors able to browse the rows of yachts and powerboats until 18:00 on the Friday and Saturday and 17:00 on the Sunday.

Registering for entry ahead of the event is possible via the website, guaranteeing travellers access to the exhibition venue.

In addition to companies such as Sunseeker International and Evolution Yachts that will be showing their wares, there will also be a Boat Show Charity Regatta for visitors to enjoy.
