Dermatopathologist Stephanie Mengden, MD of CTA Lab Presents: "Overview of Psoriasis" at 2010 Oregon Society of Physician Assistants Spring Medical Update

Dr. Stephanie Mengden, Board-Certified in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology, will present an informative lecture titled, "Overview of Psoriasis" at the 2010 Oregon Society of Physician Assistants (OSPA) Spring Medical Update in Portland, Oregon on April 9, 2010.

Following Dr. Stephanie Mengden's lecture, attendees will be able to:
- Recognize the variable clinical features of a patient presenting with psoriasis
- Have a general understanding of the theories of pathogenesis in psoriasis
- Form a differential diagnosis
- Have an overview of potential therapeutics

"I am excited about the opportunity to lecture on the clinical and histopathologic features of psoriasis," commented Dr. Stephanie Mengden. "Psoriasis is a common inflammatory skin disorder which can have a variety of clinical presentations and dramatically affect a patient's life."

About Stephanie Mengden, MD
Both a dermatologist and dermatopathologist, Stephanie Mengden, MD received her residency training at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona and dermatopathology fellowship training at New York University School of Medicine, where she was also assistant professor prior to moving to Portland. Currently, Dr. Mengden practices dermatopathology at CTA Lab (Curtis Thompson, MD & Associates, LLC - Dermatopathology Laboratory) in Portland. The laboratory focuses entirely on skin, hair, and nail pathology, as well as direct immunofluorescence testing.
