Petticoats are back - the catwalks are full of petticoats.

In 2001 the petticoat was officially deleted from the UK retail price index! The petticoat was dead!

Not so, in the fall season of 2003 and spring 2004 we saw a lot of 50's inspired looks on the catwalk that transferred to the high street in many forms. Skirts were filled out with net or tulle and the feminine look of an era seemed to be returning. Many expected this to last only a couple of seasons, but this seasons catwalks are teeming with petticoats, short and long, some ridiculously full.

It appears the feminine look is back to stay (at least for a while). All styles of skirts are being filled out with petticoats in chiffon, organdy and tulle. The high street has yet to transform this petticoat extravaganza into mass produced items.

Petticoatdreams retails petticoats for virtually any dress or skirt, from short petticoats to longer rock 'n' roll styles. Soft chiffon to stiffer net are all catered for with over 100 different petticoats in up to 32 colours. Bridal, dance and fun petticoats are all available from the extensive range.

50's fashion and petticoats are back, glamour is back.
