Keycamp Looks To Up The Fun Factor

Keycamp is bidding to boost the fun factor of its holidays yet further and has teamed up with fun and happiness expert Ben Renshaw to develop The Happy Holiday Selector.

This online profiler – available to browse or download at www.keycamp.co.uk/funbook - is part of a brand new eBook titled 'Keycamp's Little Book of Holiday Fun', which is designed to help customers match themselves to one of nine personality profiles and then work out the holiday activities and destinations that will provide them with the ultimate in fun getaways.

Dave McKenna, head of brand at Keycamp, says the team was inspired after a recent survey of over 1,000 of its customers showed that while 60 per cent of Brits rate the fun factor of their day to day lives at 6 out of 10 or less, 90 per cent would rate their levels of fun at 7 or more when on holiday.

He comments: "Holidays are a sure fire way to ensure that families are hitting their fun quota and the great selection of sports, activities and kids' clubs available at our parcs means that we are already in a terrific position to help maximise their time away. However, it's also important that we help our customers choose a destination that is going to get those happy hormones pumping."

Ben Renshaw, Director of the Happiness Project and a leading authority on all things fun, agrees: "Of course it's obvious that holidays offer a great opportunity for fun, but what ticks the box for one family may not work for another. We've put a little bit of science behind the booking process and hope it'll ensure that every family gives themselves the best chance of having fun on that perfect break."

As well as customers being able to access the Happy Holiday Selector online, the front line fun managers at Keycamp's call centre will also be trained over the coming months to learn how to match bespoke holiday recommendations to various personality types.

In the meantime, those looking to up their fun factor while away, can check out Keycamp's Little Book of Holiday Fun and the Happy Holiday Selector at www.keycamp.co.uk/funbook.
