AsiaRooms.com can reveal that people who enjoy going to the theatre may want to book accommodation in Singapore and head to the Academy Theatre in May.

From May 14th until June 10th, audiences will be able to watch a special show, which will take those who attend through a series of different tales from all over the world, each relating to a journey.

Aimed at children and adults alike, those who like to escape by watching a live performance may find Journeys is a great option while staying in Singapore.

The show begins with a version of The Gruffalo by Tall Stories, followed by The Dandelion's Story performed by the Modl Theatre from Korea.

Other yarns that will be spun on stage include Antoine and the Paper Aeroplane from British company Blak Wulff and Shiro and the Cherry Blossom from a Singapore-based theatre troupe.

Shows run daily at various times, so that anyone visiting Singapore should be able to find one that suits them.

Tickets start from SD$20 (£9.50), with family rates available at SD$68 for a group of four. They can be booked through the venue's website or via telephone.

Anyone who wants to attend will find the theatre is served by good public transport links and is located on Sarkies Road in the centre of the city.
