May 03, 2010 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
In response to increasing customer demand, Monmouth Rubber now offers epichlorohydrin sponge rubber in not just one, but all five ASTM-1056 hardnesses.

ECH performs well during continuous temperatures of 300 degrees and provides excellent resistance to:

- Weather
- Ozone
- Sunlight
- Oxidation
- Light oil contact
- Biofuels

In fact, ECH sponge rubber's resistance to biofuels makes it an increasingly popular choice with auto makers.

Other applications include:
- Oil field specialties
- Pump diaphragms
- Power and conveyor belting
- Valve parts
- Vibration isolators
- Paper mill and printing rolls

"With so many other companies no longer able to offer epichlorohydrin sponge, we wanted to come out with something better, to offer our customers something special," company President John M. Bonforte Jr. said. "We can provide customized bun sizing and specific sheet sizes to help our customers maximize their production."
