Princeton, NJ - Expeditive, a leading provider of interim revenue cycle staffing and A/R SWAT teams has announced a new service line. It will provide remote Medicare billers to Critical Access hospitals.

James Yarsinsky, president of the revenue cycle staffing firm, made the announcement this week (May 5, 2010).

Mr. Yarsinsky said, "This service will be of tremendous value to our small rural hospital clients. It is most difficult for critical access hospitals to find trained and experienced Medicare billers.

"Medicare billers are highly skilled individuals who are able to navigate through all the idiosyncrasies of the Medicare reimbursement process," said Yarsinsky. "In so many cases, the existing workload in accounts receivble places a huge burden for existing staff to accurately bill Medicare and, as a result, hospitals tend to leave considerable money on the table."

Most of our Critical Access Hospital clients will use our remote Medicare billing specialists for their A/R Workdowns, to cover for employee sick days, vacations and to reduce billing backlogs. We will serve as an adjuct to the their business offices".

Yarsinsky said, "Our Medicare billing specialists will be working from their home offices. We will use a VPN connection which will get us into our clients' patient accounting system. It will be a seemless process and it will be as though we are sitting in the hospitals business offices. Having billers work from home is the wave-of-the-future".
