LateRooms.com highlights guests at Milan hotels that head down to one of the venues celebrating Milan Food Week will not only have the chance to try some tasty treats, but also enjoy a series of exhibitions and perhaps learn a thing or two in the kitchen.

Taking place from June 5th to 13th, the event is likely to go down well with foodies all over the world who want to visit Milan and still indulge their love of exotic delicacies.

Naturally, some venues will be offering tastings, although the festival organisers have not yet announced a full list of participating eateries.

However, some of the occasions that look set to go ahead include CoffeeMI and PanMI, which focus on coffees and baked goods respectively, reports What's on When.

The online resource also highlighted the appearance of FeedMI and ILOVECOOKING, which emphasise the importance of debates and practical cooking skills.

It lists Chiostri Dell'Umanitaria and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II as two of the restaurants taking part, although other places will offer photography, cinema and many different workshops.

Some of the events on the programme are set to be free of charge, but other sessions may require payment.

Last year, some of the other evenings that went ahead included BeerMI, T-Rest, SaporBio and TasteMI.

For more information on this event visit the Milan Food Week website.

"The Milan Food Week is likely to be popular," said Jess Reading, head of marketing at LateRooms. "LateRooms strongly recommends people considering attending to book hotel Milano as soon as possible."
