BOULDER, CO - June 16, 2010 - Asia Transpacific Journeys, a leading US-based Asia tour operator is offering travelers a chance to share that special photo of their travel to India, via the "Share Your India Experience- India Travel Photo Contest". The India travel photo contest ends July 31, 2010. Every entrant has the chance to win a new, 16 GB, Wi-Fi Apple iPad, valued at $499.

Asia Transpacific Journeys wanted to find a way to both reward and showcase photos which celebrate the magical imagery, beauty, and wonder of travel to India.

"Making connections with people young and old in the countries we visit helps to make the world a smaller place" said Stacey Schultz, Marketing Director of Asia Transpacific Journeys. "We have been leading tours to India for years and feel that if we can encourage people to share their experiences through photography, revealing connections to the local people and cultures, it reinforces why we travel. "

The three-month contest still has six weeks remaining for travelers to submit their best photo of travel to India. With the iPad incentive, Schultz hopes that "the Share Your India Experience Photo Contest will inspire more entrants as well as travelers eager to learn why travel in India is so intriguing." Schultz noted that the company had a successful photo contest last year. "We're excited to open the contest up to a wider group of travelers and photographers this year."

Full details and links to the contest are on the Asia Transpacific Journeys web site and Facebook Page.
