LateRooms.com can announce that holidaymakers in the mood for some multicultural entertainment should visit the Czech Republic for this summer's Prague Folklore Days.

Running from July 29th to August 1st, this festival invites folklore ensembles from all over the world to showcase their traditional forms of music and dance in the Czech capital.

Past editions have featured groups from as far afield as Jordan and Nepal, while the list of confirmed participants for this year's festival includes representatives of Cyprus, Estonia, Israel, Sri Lanka and Turkey, among others.

From the UK, groups such as the Rampant Rooster Morris and the Ellington Morris will fly the flag for England.

People using hotels in Prague during the Folklore Days can expect to see a variety of free open-air performances taking place around the city centre.

The event also features a parade of all the participating folk groups through the city streets and concludes with a festival party.

Travellers heading to Prague next month could also use the event as a chance to explore the famous sights of the Old Town, including the Astronomical Clock, the Old New Synagogue and Charles Bridge.

For more information on this event visit the Prague Folklore Days website or contact the organisers on 00420 257 219 999.
