Topher Straus’ KRUSH to hold it's LOS ANGELES premiere at the historic Mansion Building on the lot of the Culver Studios!

Topher Straus' critically acclaimed short film KRUSH will be holding its Los Angeles Premiere on 9/28/05 at 7:30PM in the DeMille Theater inside the historic Mansion Building of Culver Studios.

FILM THREAT's critic Greg Bellavia describes KRUSH as; "Offbeat but effective. KRUSH plays so well because the audience never quite knows what to expect, allowing the characters to evolve in engaging ways. KRUSH is both funny and surprisingly thoughtful, a curious short film but definitely rewarding.”

KRUSH is about Jason Smith, a dreamer with no dream. His wife Suzie is slowly being bored to death. Then David E., a suspect director, knocks on Suzie's door one day to ask her if she'd like to participate on his documentary a piece on House Wife Heroes of

Orange County. Suzie admits to David that she doesn't spend much time with her husband because he spends his weekends "fishing" by himself. But when Suzie goes to David's office a month later to see the first cut of the documentary, she discovers that Jason doesn't know the first thing about fishing.

Enter KRUSH.

Join director/actor Topher Straus, star Jennifer Fontaine, and the rest of the cast and crew next week at this exciting event.
