LateRooms.com - See something new at Projects Done in Seville

LateRooms.com divulges travellers with a love of original artwork may find the Projects Done exhibition in Seville's Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC) offers them a unique view of a variety of subjects.

It covers a range of Candida Höfer's work from 1968 to 2008, with the aim being for each piece to relate to a specific place or time.

Projects Done is a touring exhibition that will be shown in various art spaces, with 14 works being presented in the different museums, while a 15th spot is given to a local artist whose creation fits in with the theme of the display.

Tourists staying in some of the accommodation Seville has to offer can see the exhibit until October 5th 2010.

What the organisers stress Ms Hofer tries to do is to separate workflows and projects, with the former relating to art created away from a specific subject.

"The difference between project and workflow is subtler: each project sets a structural framework of order for the images it unites, an order that the images accept and transcend at the same time," the venue explained.

Opening hours for the art space are from 10:00 to 21:00 local time Tuesdays to Fridays, 11:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays and 11:00 to 15:00 on Sundays.

Tickets cost €1.80 (£1.50).

For more information on this event visit the CAAC website or contact the venue on (0034) 955 03 70 70.
