LateRooms.com - Savour a glass or two at Coonawarra Wine Tasting Roadshow

July 30, 2010 (PRLEAP.COM) Travel News
LateRooms.com divulges the Coonawarra Wine Tasting Roadshow - one of the most popular events of the year among those who enjoy a fine tipple or two - is coming to Perth towards the end of next month.

For one day only, the Coonawarra region's famous wineries will be visiting the capital of Western Australia to allow the public to enjoy some of their best-loved varieties.

Set to go ahead on August 25th 2010, the event will be held at Perth Town Hall on the corner of Barrack and Hay Streets, which should be just a short distance to travel for many people staying at Perth hotels.

The Coonawarra Vignerons Association - the organisation which is made up of all of the region's winemakers - have pledged to bring more than 100 different varieties for attendees to enjoy, so if one tipple doesn't take your fancy, simply try another one.

Ladbroke Grove, Hollick Wines, Highbank Wines and Bowen Estate, plus many more, will be represented at the Perth meeting.

As well as all that sampling, attendees from some of the 5 star hotels Perth has to offer can also meet the owners and experts behind these famous brands.

Tickets for the event can be purchased on the door for A$25. It will get underway at 17:00 local time and finish at 20:00.

For more information on this event, visit the Coonawarra Vignerons Association website or contact the organisers on (+61) 8 8737 2392.
