Popular Polish Dental Web Site Sees Record Traffic

DENTOnet.pl – leading Polish dental portal – welcomed last month a record 63.900 ‘unique visitors’ (tracked by their IP address) - up 277 percent over same month last year. Since its launch in May 2000 the Web site gains on popularity and is visited by both dental patients and dental professionals.

The portal as well as newly published dental journal “e-Dentico” are two flagships of the Lodz based (central Poland) publishing house “Wydawnictwo Bestom-DENTOnet.pl”.
July’s record-breaking unique visitor count follows May average of 59.000 unique visitors and March 56.000, now portal’s second and third best months ever.

The company attributed its online growth to the increasing popularity of three major sections on DENTOnet.pl – Dental News, Discussion Forums (including case presentations) and Dental Events. Discussion Forums and Dental Events saw particular growth, with 126 percent and 140 percent year-over-year increases in page views, respectively.

In September 2005 DENTOnet.pl will celebrate its 5th anniversary while the “Wydawnictwo Bestom-DENTOnet.pl” publishing house its 15-year’s presence on the Polish dental market.
