Testing of IBC Tote-Tracking Program Under Way at Metano

Perrineville, NJ - based Metano IBC Services Inc. has launched a beta version of its new tracking system for IBC totes.

"The beta testing is going great," company President Tom Wilkins said. "All the feedback has been very positive. Our customers really appreciate knowing where all of their totes are all the time."

The program, also known as a Mobile Asset Management System (MAMS), provides a wide array of info, including:

- the day and time IBC totes are shipped or received
- the condition, location and status of the containers
- the units' UN/DOT test date, next test date and current test certificate

The tracking system is being tested with a select group of customers, representing thousands of IBC totes that must be monitored and reported on. Metano's new service provides serious added value for the company's customers, Wilkins said.

"Our web-based tracking system is easy-to-use and saves significant time for our customers," he said. "In the end, that translates into a stronger bottom line for everyone."

Metano, a leading supplier of IBC totes, rents and sells stainless steel totes, metal IBCs, and poly IBCs, as well as IBC accessories and parts. Visit http://www.metanousa.com/mobile-asset-management-system.asp for more information on its new tracking system.
