ST. LOUIS, Missouri—HorrorShow, a new magazine for fans of latex monster masks, toys, and movie collectibles, has announced the debut of its premiere issue. The full-color publication, printed on heavy card stock with the highest production values, is the only magazine of its kind to focus specifically on latex masks, mask artists, and horror merchandise.

“A magazine of this kind is LONG overdue,” said Matt Zimmer, publisher of HorrorShow. “While there are plenty of other publications that churn out movie reviews and other fluff, HorrorShow is a true resource for the dedicated mask and toy collector. This is literally the only magazine that offers this much incredible coverage all in one place.”

HorrorShow #1 features interviews with mask artists Douglas Goins, James Benkosky, and Vincent Van Dyke, as well a studio profile of Nimba Creations, a UK-based special effects company that did work on the upcoming Peter Jackson film, King Kong. “There are masks and monsters galore in our magazine,” Zimmer said. “And every image is in gorgeous full-color—something you rarely find in magazines of this genre.”

HorrorShow is distributed internationally through Ingram Periodicals, Diamond Comic Distribution, Tower Records, Borders and Barnes and Noble chains and many others. Single-issue copies are available for $9 through their website at http://www.horrorshowmagazine.com, or $36 for a one-year, four-issue subscription.
