Wavex, a London-based IT Services company, selected as finalist in UK's premier IT awards

London – September 28, 2010 – Wavex, a leading supplier of IT managed services, announced today that it has been selected as a finalist in three categories for the BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards 2010.

Members of the Wavex team have been selected as finalists in the Young IT Professional of the Year and Service & Support Professional of the Year categories, as well as Wavex being confirmed as a finalist in one of the Project Excellence categories.

Gavin Russell, joint CEO & Founder of Wavex, said "This is the strongest possible endorsement of Wavex's policy of hiring the very best people, and investing in their continued development. Senior Engineer Gregory Bennett is a finalist in the coveted Young IT Professional of the Year category, and Service Desk Team Leader Tina Vaghela is in the equally prestigious IT Service & Support Professional of the Year final. Wavex's Strategic Infrastructure Project for Bibendum Wine Ltd has been selected for the Small Business Project of the Year award.
