Copper Mountain, October 4, 2010: Ski and snowboard instructor training provider, Rookie Academy has extended early bird prices on Copper Mountain, Colorado, instructor courses until October 20th.

There might not be a better time or place to start your ski or snowboard instructing career than this January or February in Copper Mountain, Colorado.

Despite strong early bookings, training provider Rookie Academy has decided to offer savings of up to US$850 on its respected courses right through to October 20th.

"We know times are tough," says Academy founder and veteran instructor trainer, Dean Hunter. "We want to help people join the snow sports industry. So we thought we'd make it a little easier on the pocket."

This winter in Colorado, Hunter and his team will be offering aspiring instructors a choice of 13, 7 and 3 week instructor training courses from their Copper Mountain base. These courses offer Professional Ski Instructor of America (PSIA) and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) qualifications at level 1 or 2.

Those opting for the longest training course to obtain higher level industry qualifications can save US$850 if they book by October 20th. The shorter seven week course is currently available at a US$650 saving. And the three week course is offered at an early season price that offers a US$450 saving.

Hunter is particularly excited about the new three week instructor training courses. "They're new for this season and the shortest course we have offered in the U.S. They don't require the same time commitment as longer courses and they pack a lot in. Students who pass their exams will come away with a respected industry qualification and a taste of life in an international ski resort."
